Your cell number will never be sold or given to a 3rd party, except for law enforcement via a subpoena.
Your cell number is stored on our secure server. This is required for our system to operate.
Your group name, membership, preferences, and other information related to your cell number are stored on our secure server.

Three quick texts to create a group
One text to join a group
When the activity is over, delete the group and the text link is dissolved
Communication with your group:
One person creates the group with three texts from their mobile phone
This person is called the Lead Admin
After group creation, two codes (member code and Admin code) and a group [phone number] will be sent to this Lead Admin
One code will be for the Admins (e.g., Assistant Coaches – assigned by the LA) and the other code is for everyone else (members)
Both Admins and members will use the same [phone number]
The Admins must inform potential members of the code and [phone number]

Any person wanting to join must be given the code and number, and take deliberate action to join
New members must op-in
The group creator is unable to assign people to the group

A convenient way to text with a bunch of people that you may have just met
Why two codes?
Admin code:
Admins' messages go to everyone, member messages go only to Admins, not other members
Only four Admins per group – any Admin can send a text to the group
Sometimes one Admin is busy, so another Admin can send texts to the group
The Lead Admin will select other Admins at their discretion
To join a group, a mobile phone must be used
The Lead Admin will provide the Admin code and [phone number] to selected Admins
Text the Admin code to the [phone number]
They will receive a text indicating they are now an Admin of a “Group”
A “Group” name will be created by the Lead Admin
Member code:
Anyone wishing to join should get the Member code and [phone number] from the Lead Admin
Text the Member code to the [phone number]
They will receive a text indicating they have joined a “Group”
A “Group” name will be created by the Lead Admin
Texts sent via this number by the member will now go to all the admins (not to other members)
A Simple Example
Consistent Communication
Think of this scenario - Imagine coaching your child’s sports team:
You (Lead Administrator or Lead Admin/LA) create a group
The group is created and a [phone number] [555-111-2222] and codes (A=J1234 and M=J6789) are assigned
An assistant coach (Admin) and another person have offered to help (Admin)
The LA provides the code (Admin code:A=J1234) and the [phone number] to the other Admins
Once joined, all texts sent from this [phone number] will go to all members (and Admins) of the group
Admins can provide interested parties (e.g., players and parents) with the group [phone number] and code (member code: M=J6789)
Once joined, member texts go to the Admins (not members)

As an Admin, a text can be sent to the entire group as easily as you would text one of your friends
